What I Want Now: A Lesson In Geometry

Typically I gravitate towards things that are soft and girly, but I always need to remind myself how wonderfully throwing in something edgy or graphic on top of that can translate.  When you think "Spring trends", what comes to mind?  In a literal sense I think, pastels, chiffon, and florals.  Spring 2011 re-invents itself by touching on the usual staples of the season, but throws us a curve ball with unexpected bright pop colors, tribal influences and lots of black and white in fun geometric patterns that are so intricate they can make you go cross eyed (in a good way).  There is something so appealing about the composition of shapes.  I have a feeling my spring wardrobe will be full of patterns and prints vs. the usual solids I tend to go for.  I can't wait to scoop up some of these fun finds!

XOXO,

Sorellina

  2. I've wanted that Modcloth top for awhile! LOVE the wedges too...and the flats, especially. The cubism necklace is such a stunner. (Excellent choices, all!)
